Lights, camera… In autumn 2006, TELL ME MORE® Premium will offer its users the chance to become real life actors in their foreign language learning programs!
This new version from the world leader in interactive language learning includes a revolutionary, new interactive activity: Role Play. In the Role Play activity, students dub actors in short clips taken from actual films and television series, such as "The Magic of Vincent" and "Between Two Worlds."
Based on a simple karaoke model, the Role Play activity allows students to approach spoken language learning in a fun, interactive way. Users first practice pronouncing the character's lines from a selected film, and then dub the actor in real time as the speech recognition software evaluates their pronunciation. To aid their interpretation, users have access to dialogue scripts. The student can then view a screening of the dubbed version of the film, allowing him to see his performance.
With the addition of the Role Play activity, TELL ME MORE® Premium now includes more than 250 hours of language learning content per level and 40 different types of activities.
